On the occasion of 50 years of work of the Association of Spas of Serbia, a bilingual monograph “The First 50 Years” was published, in which the development of balneology of Bukovicka Banja and the influence of its natural healing factor on the human body were presented.

Until the second half of the 20th century, spa tourism was the only segment of Serbian tourism, so the monograph shows the history of the use of our healing springs through the centuries.
It is a book that exudes history, tradition, enthusiasm, ambition, pride and love for the work that we all do in spas and for spas – it is stated in the editorial of the monograph.

According to the criteria of the Republic Bureau of Statistics, there are 20 spas in Serbia that registered more nights than the Serbian average during the coronavirus pandemic, and even than the leading leaders of Belgrade and Novi Sad.
